Living Hope Native Ministries
"You were born for places like this." These were the words the Lord impressed upon Colleen Estes' heart during a one week mission trip to God's River, an isolated First Nation (reservation) in Northern Manitoba. In 1997, after 12 years of what looked like delay but what was actually preparation, Colleen received an invitation by an Ojibwe pastor to move to Pikangikum First Nation in Northwestern Ontario and start a Sunday School in his church. "They that sow in tears shall reap with joy." In the years that followed there has been much seed sown through Sunday School, teaching Christian Education in the school, youth events, Bible studies, and relationships, and also many tears, because native communities are often places filled with tragedy and heartbreak.
But.... God is at work in Pikangikum First Nation and He has His church there, praying and worshipping and believing Him for tranformation of their community and outreach to other places as well. In addition to children's ministry, Colleen's role is to encourage native believers in who they are in God.
Colleen very much appreciates Victory Christian Center and their "partnership in the Gospel" in Pikangikum over many years. She is a staff member of Living Hope Native Ministries http://www.lhnm.org and an ordained minister with International Association of Ministries.
World Harvest Outreach
Did you know that in the Amazon Rain Forest there are still people that have little to no knowledge of the Saving Knowledge of Jesus Christ? Hi, We are John & Cindy Mortimer, We have been ministering here in the Amazon of Peru, South America since 1982. We along with John’s parents John & Helena Mortimer arrived here in a Houseboat we brought from Duluth, MN. back in 1988. Over the years we have built up a Mission Base in Iquitos, Bible Training, Raise people up to Pastors, Leaders, etc. Built churches in the Jungle. We have been a part of Crusades and many Ministry Events over the years. Our Goal is: Souls! To get the Salvation Message to as many as we can. Our river travels here in the Amazon Jungle take us hundreds of miles to reach Indians that are seeped in Demonic practices; Witch Craft, etc. Taking the Glorious Gospel of Jesus we have chosen to go to help set them free from the bondages of Sinful life choices. Over the years we have seen the hand of the Lord in Miracles, Healings, etc. We are 2nd Generation Missionaries. Our Children Melissa & Vince are 3rd Generation Missionaries and our 5 Grandchildren are growing up on the Mission Field. John’s parents John & Helena Mortimer have been on the Mission Field for almost 50 years until John’s Dad went on to his Eternal reward in 2020. Helena is now living in the USA continuing on in ministry as she can at our home church. We appreciate your faithful support for our Ministry that continues on. Missions is a high calling of God and We Thank You for your support for help making it happen.

News Service 2000
News Service 2000 was founded in l992 for the sole purpose of helping the Persecuted Church around the world.
News Service personnel have traveled extensively in communist countries in Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe, however, much of the work of News Service 2000 today is focused on the Muslim world with ongoing projects in the Middle East, and North Africa.

Raised in a Christian home in America, Brother Dave grew up knowing about Christ, knowing the Bible as the Word of God, and knowing what it meant to have the freedom to worship together as the Body of Christ. What he did not know was that the majority of the worlds population does not have this freedom. News of persecution were, to him, isolated incidences of intolerance in other countries. Through the work of Dr. Pat and News Service 2000 God began to reveal the plight of the Body of Christ in much of the world. He began to read books about persecution in the Middle East, Africa, China, India, and other countries, and his heart was moved to get involved.
In September of 2016, Brother Dave came on staff full-time with News Service 2000. He began with a trip with Dr. Pat to the Middle East and North Africa. That trip opened his eyes and his heart to the realities of what Christians face in these countries. Since that time, he has been traveling twice a year for almost a month at a time praying with, encouraging, and helping Christians in different countries. His compassion for the Body of Christ around the world has grown deep.
A project manager in the Construction field for many years, Brother Dave has now been in full-time ministry for over 14 years; first as the State Director for Child Evangelism Fellowship of Minnesota and then moving to News Service 2000 to work with the Body of Christ in countries where persecution of Christians is the norm. He also speaks in churches here in America to inform Christians of how they can pray for their brothers and sisters around the world.
Brother Dave is married to his high school sweetheart Barb, and together they have four adult children, four wonderful ‘in-laws,’ and a growing number of grandchildren.
